It All Started With A Joke.

What makes us different? Each of our cookies has a unique recipe and personality in flavor, texture, and baking style. Our team started personifying each cookie as a joke around the time we discussed rebranding, moving away from the generic pink cookie in our original logo. I realized what makes us stand out is what we stand FOR: individualism, creativity and fun, while championing our values: female empowerment and human rights being a cornerstone. We wanted to incorporate the art that surrounds our Norwalk, CT bakery and the murals that decorate our building into the new logo...but what if we brought the personalities of our cookies into the rebrand while giving a nod to the past?

When our team member, Kat, drew Ms. "Salty As Fluff" Fluffernutter for a laugh, we knew we HAD to give the others their own caricatures, too. Now each hand-drawn cookie and bag is inimitable art that fits the handmade nature of our cookies, the sense of humor and the values of our team, and the art-filled, colorful kitchen in which they're baked.  After all, at Rebel Daughter Cookies, we believe you should be able to have your fun, and eat it, too. - Anne

 __________________________________________

Meet Your Favorite Rebel Daughter Cookies.

The Original

The first Rebel Daughter Cookie ever created, and the one who inspired all her sister cookies, she is the leader of the Crowd Favorites lineup to this day.  Based on our original logo cookie and packed with chunks of melty chocolate, walnuts, and a whole lot of sass, she'll always be #1 and she knows it. She's not surprised you couldn't resist taking a bite out of her head, but she's not exactly mad about it either.

O(M)G™️

Meet the lil' sis of the OG, born from the same recipe, and created at the request we make a chocolate chunk cookie without nuts.  She's since eclipsed her sister as our best-selling cookie (OG is totally cool with it as you'd hope a supportive big sis would be). Her middle initial M may or may not stand for Moaning, which is what what we've been told this NSFW cookie may induce. Or maybe we just made that part up. Either way, enjoy at your own discretion, as loudly or quietly as you want; we certainly aren't judging. And yeah, she's heard all the jokes about crumbing.

Fluffernutter Forever™️

Ms. Fluff is high-maintenance, so of course she had to be the first caricature we created. With her gooey marshmallow oozing everywhere, she requires special attention during baking and demands an extra dose of chocolate salt to complement her peanut butter + sweet marshmallow base. She can't stand how much enjoyment you get from her chewy/crunchy sides and delightfully soft interior and she wants to speak to your manager about it.

Oat of Control™️

As the the last cookie to join the Crowd Favorites lineup and the youngest, Oat might be the wildest of them all...wildly good, that is. She's breaking all the old "rules" that oatmeal cookies are "healthy" or "for your granny" or that "raisins in cookies are gross" and is on a mission to be the most cin-ful-tasting oatmeal raisin cookie you'll ever have. Chewy with juicy, plump Chilean flame raisins, white chocolate and vanilla bean icing, she's out to prove an oatmeal cookie can be rebellious, too.

All Fired Up™️ (FKA "Smore, Please")

Based on fond memories of Girl Scout camp, and the beloved campfire treat, she's hand-toasted to perfection and boasts all the same crunchy graham cracker, gooey-marshmallow goodness but packed with grown-up, gourmet chocolate: you'll never taste a regular s'mores the same way again. All Fired Up changed her name in adulthood as she fights passionately for women's rights. She's ALL fired up for equality and overthrowing the bakeriarchy and wants everyone to know where she stands (in this case, on a flaming hot pink bra).

White Unicorn™️

Isn't she adorable? But don't let looks fool you: This 14 year old girl in STEM is a force to be reckoned with. In her free time, you can find her programming battle bots with the after-school club she founded, reading books about sci-fi or her favorite female heroes and tutoring. Maybe that's how she earned her tagline "Nerd at Heart", or maybe it's the literal NERDS® candy in the center of her colorful white chocolate core. Whatever the reason, she may act like a tough cookie as a girl surrounded by boys but one thing is certain: the fastest way to melt her heart? In the microwave for 12 seconds.

The Blackout™️

Oh, she's sloppy. If you could only see the way she bakes with her caramel and milk chocolate running in all directions-- this girl is a literal hot mess. What's not to love, though? She's the fun friend up after curfew, causing midnight-chocolatey mayhem with besties Cara and Mel and weighing in non-judgmentally on your breakup with that guy who totally didn't deserve you. Her love of a good time is only matched by her love of drinking...an ice cold glass of milk, that is. Any type. She doesn't discriminate. ;)

Churro

She's the O(M)G's socially-conscious cousin, organizing and protesting for more cookies (not war), LGBTQ+ and women's rights, climate change initiatives and more. Girls should be everything she's made of: chocolate (obviously), sugar, spice, and a desire to overthrow oppressive institutions of power for the collective good. Word has it she's organizing near you; will you join her?

Motherloaded™️

Her milkshake brings all the babies to the yard. The Jennifer Coolidge of lactation cookies, she's the MILF who's got it all: wholesome galactagogues, caramel, marshmallow, chocolate chunks and Cocoa Krispies®, not to mention financial independence, a beautiful new baby...and are we even going to discuss those money makers? She's loaded in every way possible, but especially with "liquid gold" due in part to her love of Rebel Daughter lactation cookies.

Reball (Pronounced "Rebel") Baby

Motherloaded's little bundle of joy is our Reball, a 2-bite cookie ball made from our favorite Rebel Daughter Cookies. She tastes just like our cookies you know and love but in a cuter and more compact, portable, poppable style. She's always the hit of the party or corporate events. And how could she not be with that face?

Udderly Ridiculous™️

She was the cookie formerly known as "Got Milk?" as a tongue-in-cheek pun on lactating and a nod to our favorite 90's slogan until the California Milk Processor Board, who owns the copyright to the "Got Milk?®" slogan, got wind of our little cookie via Food Network naming our lactation sampler as one of the best postpartum gifts for new moms and sent us a cease and desist email demanding we change the name immediately (like, in a day--or else). Nevermind the fact that our cookies make people think of their product, are noncompetitive to their product, that no harm was intended or that it's a pun on lactating; their lawyers were unamused. But hey, a trademark is a trademark. So, off we headed to Instagram to ask our followers to rename her, and Udderly Ridiculous was born. We love her new name and look even better, and now we have a great story to tell, so we'll count that as a win in our book.

Birthday Suit™️

(Pronouns: they/them)

Baby, they were baked this way, with all the goodness of lactation cookie ingredients oats, flax and brewer's yeast, but flavored like vanilla birthday cake and loaded with pastel chunks of white chocolate, milk chocolate, sprinkles and loads of edible glitter. They're so good you might say they're a party in your mouth... just don't make it weird, ok?

Cookie Cake

With her floral crown, sprinkles, and edible glitter, this girl is always the life of the party...But just WHO is she eating, exactly?
